Bonjour,
Dear Sir
We, Customers Relations Dept.,MMC have duly received your email via our
subsidiary, MAE on captioned and please be advised following comments
for
your prompt reference.
11. Since filer hose or feeder hose of Fuel Pumping System associated
with
Fuel Tank of Mitsubishi Vehicles are made from Fluorine or nitrium
rubber,
the hose itself will blow out by touching acetone, which inevitably
makes
inner hole of the hose smaller and block up. The hose itself will be
fallen off in the worst case.
Considering such adverse and serious effect, adding acetone to the fuel
tank is strictly prohibited.
22. In terms of material of the fuel tank itself, which is usually made
from polyethylene, not so serious adverse effect is anticipated but
engine
durability is quite uncertain in case acetone is added as additive as
fuel.
Appreciate your prompt attention to the above.
